Net Control 2 version 7.04 released. 

Improved support for installation of Net Control 2 on non-default ports:
- Net Control 2 detects port number of user part when it scans network for available connections;
- Port of Remote Desktop service will be calculated relatively to the base port of Net Control 2 service (e.g. BASE PORT + 7)
- Port of Broadcast Desktop service will be calculated relatively to the base port of Net Control 2 service (e.g. BASE PORT + 11)
- This behavior may be changed in configuration of User computer, "Connection Options" tab: ports of Remote Desktop and Broadcast Desktop may be set to some fixed value.
- Port of Broadcast Desktop Sender may be set up in options of Administrator part of the software on N-> Options -> Client Options -> Connections tab.

We recommend to change default port mapping scheme of Net Control 2 services only in the case, when the software interfere with configuration of third-party software, installed on your computers or if you would like enable Net Control 2 services behind firewall. This operation is recommended only for advanced users, incorrect ports configuration may result that Net Control 2 services will be unavailable.

Net Control 2 version 7.03 released. 

[Fixed]
Connection issue under Windows Vista in network domain and when host name addressing method is used: due to incorrect detection of DNS name of remote computer, found computers cannot be connected.

To fix the problem, user and administrator computers should be re-installed using this update.

Net Control 2 version 7.02 released. 

[New features]
Remote Desktop in Multi-computer mode can switch remote computers automatically after defined time intervals ("Scan mode");
Remote Desktop inlcudes now additional "Record" feature. Any received from user computers image can be recorded, saved to file (Desktop Recorder DRR format) and replayed.
"Lock and Blank" command (lock computer and blank screen of user computers).
new "Allow Help Requests" permission for User configuration.

[Improvements]
New extension of Desktop Recorder file format provides better audio synchronization for records, containing recorded audio.
Windows Vista Aero style screen capture bug fixed.
Net Control 2 now automatically start scanning network for available computers on opening of empty group and at first start.

Net Control 2 version 7.01 released. 

Most important changes:
1. New, simplified editor of Internet Access profiles;
2. Internet Control Engine supports (may restrict or filter) https:// and ftp:// web-pages (when installed as IE add-on);
3. Internet Control Engine profiles: the name of web-site may be specified as a template: e.g. specifying "*domain " instead of the name of web-site, all web-sites, which contains word "domain" in the name, will be blocked.
4. By default Internet Control Engine installed as Internet Explorer Add-on, which is less conflictive with third-party software;
5. Internet Explorer 7 Protected Mode bug fixed.

Net Control 2 Standard Edition pre-release version 7.0 Beta 0.
We are pleased to announce a pre-release of the next generation of Net Control 2 software - Net Control 2 version 7.0 Beta. This version is a result of our persistent works within latest 9 months. The most important changes lies in the part of compatibility with the newest generation of Microsoft's operating systems. Because Windows Vista provides new, increased requirements to the system software in the part of security and access to system resources, the process of adaptation has required from us re-coding of the most components of the software.

Current pre-release supports and may be installed on Windows XP/2003 and Vista. Support of Windows 2000 will be added in the nearest time. 

Registered users of Net Control 2 version 5.xx and 6.0 may use this beta without evaluation license restrictions.

Please note, this beta version is a pre-release and not the stable version, i.e. it was successfully tested on a limited amount of computers and potentially has bugs and errors, which will be fixed in the next updates. Most active testers and evaluators of Net Control 2 version 7.0 will receive registered user license or an upgrade for free.

Net Control 2 version 6.0 RC1
This version is a pre-release of the next, 6th, major update of Net Control 2 software. For this version we have designed new user interface for the main window of Net Control 2 Client. We hope new improvements will make use of the software even more comfortable. New features were added to Remote Desktop tool: now it provide more convenient interface for controlling several remote computers simultaneosly; for example, you can dynamically receive screenshots of remote computers, quickly switch between remote computers, control all or only selected computers. Additionally Remote Desktop now can stretch image from remote computer, save and print snapshots of remote desktop. 

Using new Desktop Recorder tool you can compose your own electronic manuals, recording activity on your Desktop and accompanying with voice remarks. Of course, you can send and play these records on User computers using Net Control 2.

Additionally was implemented new scheme of transferring large files. Now they may be sent and received in 2-3 times faster than in previous versions of Net Control 2.

Net Control 2 version 5.30
Accumulates all changes since version 5.0. In this version we have fixed bugs found during beta-testing of previous beta-versions. We recommend this version for deployment instead of version 5.0. Users of previous versions, before updating Net Control 2 on remote computers using remote update, please read "Update Notes" document in Net Control 2 folder of Start Menu.

This version provides new features in the part of broadcasting of Desktop image to several computers. New Broadcast Desktop engine allow to broadcast Desktop's image to any number of remote computers with very reliable refresh speed.

Chats group in Start menu now includes new Cam Broadcast programs,which allows to broadcast image and sound from web-camera over your network.

Net Control 2 version 5.10 beta.

New update improves performance of Remote Desktop engine, new compression technologies allow to use Remote Desktop even on slow connections. Version 5.10 also includes several enhancements of user interface: remote computers may be represented by thumbnails of any size, File Manager "remember" paths on remote and local computers, etc.

Net Control 2 version 5.0 released.

Even more convenient interface, new functionality and improved opportunities of existing features. 
Very significant changes in Remote Desktop engine, now it supports four levels of compression, that allow to minimize network traffic and to control CPU load. Drawer mode in the Remote Desktop allow to draw directly on screen and use Remote Desktop as a helpdesk. 

More convenient user interface, includes three-sided toolbars scheme. New Thumbnail view of remote computers list allow to view snapshot of remote computer's desktop  directly in the list.

New Speech Manager allow to transfer voice over network between Administrator and User computers, Messaging Manager unites messaging commands in the one tool. Events Watcher and Events Logger tools includes logging features of previous versions with new functionality.

This package is a minor update of Net Control 2. Several found problems are fixed, including some issues with Wake-On-LAN feature, printing snapshots and interface with Remote Desktop.

Before installation of Net Control 2 version 4.0, do not forget to uninstall completely previous versions (2.x and 3.x). Update is free for registered users of version 3.x. Registered users of version 2.x can update Net Control 2 up to version 4.0,  1 Administrator, 20 Users license for free.

Installation package does not contains VNC, as new version includes own internal viewer. If you prefer to use VNC, you need to download and install it separately. Also, we recommend to use t-VNC instead of any other modification of VNC.
